ESI’s study on the potential development of a Hudson Hotel in Center City was mentioned in a PhillyVoice article by Brandon Baker on Monday, March 16.
The article, which discusses the benefits of the proposed project at 17th and Chancellor Streets, cites ESI’s economic impact analysis on the project that was released in December 2014.
Baker touches on numerous ESI study findings to make his argument that the proposed hotel will be beneficial to the area. Among the findings mentioned were that traffic would be dispersed throughout the course of a day, downsizing of parking capacity is expected to lead to more public transit use and less traffic congestion, foot traffic in the area is expected to increase that jobs would be created.
