Dr. Elmore Alexander is Dean Emeritus of the Louis Ricciardi College of Business at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA. This follows Dr. Alexander’s service to the University as Dean and Professor of management.
Dr. Alexander has had an illustrious career in higher education focused in business and organizational management. Prior to joining Bridgewater State University, he served in high-level posts as well as being a professor for the business schools of Marist College (for which he also served as Acting Dean for the School of Science), Philadelphia University, Johns Hopkins University, American University, and University of Memphis. Dr. Alexander has taught and served in advisory roles that have taken him to educational institutions across the globe.
Dr. Alexander’s research interests include various aspects of international business and logistics, organizational communication, and verbal and sexual harassment in the workplace. He has authored more than 70 articles, papers, and presentations. His research has been published in the Journal of Conflict Resolution, Journal of Management, Management Communication Quarterly, Journal of Information Technology Management, and Personnel Psychology, as well as others. His articles have been regularly published in blogs produced by DC Velocity, eCampus News, and Optimal-Partners. He has made presentations at numerous professional conferences including the Academy of Management, the American Accounting Association, Decision Sciences Institute, and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International. Over the course of his career, Dr. Alexander served as a consultant for businesses and organizations including the Army Research Institute, Federal Express, Hunt-Wesson Foods, Kimberly-Clark, Methodist Hospitals of Memphis, and the U.S. Postal Service.
