Background & Experience

Michele Plaugic is an analyst at ESI with experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis, data visualization, and GIS. Prior to joining ESI, Michele worked in a variety of fields, including land use and transportation planning, solar farm development, and public health research and evaluation.

Michele has a Master’s in Public Health and a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Her academic research included the development of an outdoor air pollution risk model and spatial analysis for the city of Philadelphia as well as qualitative and quantitative research examining local food procurement in hospitals in North Carolina.
