During a forum held on Tuesday, Dec. 2 to discuss the city’s Community Sustainability Initiative, Philadelphia City Council members displayed the Know Your Neighborhood data analysis and mapping tool that was developed by Econsult Solutions (ESI), in conjunction with The Reinvestment Fund (TRF).
The tool is used to rank Philadelphia’s neighborhoods based on key quality-of-life issues, public safety, housing demand and access to education, just to name a few.
While the tool is not currently available for public use, plans call for it to be publicly available in the future. City Council President Darrell Clarke also said the tool will be brought to various community meetings around Philadelphia in the near future.
