ESI is proud to join forces with the Drexel School of Economics in hosting our 3rd Annual Urban Economic Policy Conference: Topics in Urban Infrastructure on Friday, May 12 at LeBow Hall on Drexel University’s main campus in University City.

The two panel discussions will take place over the course of the afternoon: (1) Urban Infrastructure: Micro Aspects (transportation, spatial issues, water); and (2) Urban Infrastructure: Macro Aspects (political economy, public finance, competitiveness of cities).

2:00 PM Panel I: Urban Infrastructure – Micro Aspects with ESI President Stephen Mullin as moderator and panelists: Joseph M. Casey, Former General Manager at SEPTA, Lauren Fahnestock, Vice President of Brown and Caldwell, and Nicole Westerman, Executive Director of Rebuild, City of Philadelphia

3:30 PM Panel Discussion II: Urban Infrastructure – Macro Aspects with Mark Stehr, Associate Professor and Assistant Director at Drexel School of Economics as moderator and panelists: Richard Voith, ESI President, Alan Greenberger, ESI Senior Advisor and Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Drexel University, and Silvio Nocera, Associate Professor at the Universita luav di Venezia.
