ESI SVP Peter Angelides Joins Historic Preservation Task Force

city-of-philadelphia-sealIn order to improve the City of Philadelphia’s historic preservation while encouraging visitors and development in urban growth, the Kenney Administration has decided to form a new Historic Preservation Task Force, which was announced Thursday, April 20, 2017. Our Senior Vice President Peter Angelides has been appointed to the task force as Financial Analyst.

The task force will evaluate the city’s current preservation apparatus against the best, nationally-known practices, and therefore offer recommendations about the best ways to survey historic research, provide incentivized adaptive reuse, create structures which will support different preservation outcomes, and educate the public on the value of historic preservation.
