Emily Goldstein is a senior analyst at Econsult Solutions (ESI) where she works primarily in the economic development practice. Ms. Goldstein brings a background in planning and research. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master of City Planning in 2023.
During her graduate studies, she worked as a research consultant for ESI Senior Advisor, Sylvie Gallier Howard of Equitable Cities Consulting, in addition to working at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia where she co-authored a paper on “small dollar” (under $100K) mortgage lending in the region. Prior to her master’s studies, Ms. Goldstein lived in New York City and worked in capital infrastructure planning and commercial corridor redevelopment for a business improvement district in Lower Manhattan.
A born and raised Carolina Tar Heel, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill where she studied geography, public policy, and urban planning.
