Background & experience
Mike Daly is an associate director of business development at ESI. He manages the day-to-day operations of the Business Development and Marketing Department, and is responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying new market opportunities, cultivating strategic relationships, and effectively communicating the firm’s technical capabilities to public-, private, and nonprofit-sector clients. With more than a decade of professional experience in business development and marketing, Mike brings a senior-level perspective on growth strategy, organizational positioning, and how to successfully translate technical expertise into compelling, client-focused content.
Since joining the firm, Mike has served in multiple leadership roles within the Business Development and Marketing Department and has supported several joint venture and teaming initiatives. He has played a central role in strengthening the firm’s brand presence, refining proposal strategy and delivery, and aligning business development efforts with ESI’s long-term strategic priorities.
Mike began his career at the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia (SBN), a mission-driven organization focused on advancing a more just and sustainable economy. There, he supported organizational growth through membership development and retention, led strategic communications around policy initiatives, and coordinated both large- and small-scale networking and educational events.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from York College of Pennsylvania.
