Yihan Zhang is an analyst at Econsult Solutions, Inc. (ESI). She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2023 with a Master’s in City Planning with a concentration in Public and Private Development and a Certificate in Real Estate Design and Development. Yihan’s interest lies in understanding the public and private forces behind urban development, especially in housing and redevelopment projects. Her previous work experience includes housing policy research, urban design, market analysis and software programming for sustainability analysis. During her graduate studies, she worked as Research Assistant at Housing Policy at Penn, where she primarily evaluated the housing stability outcomes of the California Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERA).
