April 3, 2025 (Philadelphia, PA) – Econsult Solutions, Inc. (ESI) is pleased to announce the promotion of Rebecca Garvin DeJoseph from Vice President for Talent Development to Senior Vice President for Talent Development and Principal, joining the firm’s executive leadership. As part of this promotion she will continue to focus her efforts on supporting the firm’s research staff in honing their analytical skills, while expanding her joint responsibility of business development and operations of the firm, alongside her fellow principals.
Garvin DeJoseph is well trained in economics and applies critical economic thinking and analysis to complex projects in economic development, workforce development, and public policy. She has served in a variety of roles while at ESI including, Senior Analyst, Associate Director, Director, Senior Economist, and Vice President. Additionally, she has spent time at PFM as Lead Economist, Senior Economist in the Economic Analysis and Information branch of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and as Assistant Professor at the Community College of Philadelphia.
