ESI is proud to support Philly Youth Basketball (PYB). PYB is a dynamic, non-profit enterprise that creates opportunities for young people, especially those from under-resourced communities, to develop their potential as students, athletes, and responsible and engaged citizens.
PYB hopes to raise $25 million to build a sports and education complex on part of a forsaken piece of property known as the Logan Triangle. This 120,000 square foot facility will have 8 indoor and 8 outdoor courts including a 2,000 seat indoor competition court; An education wing with a library, classrooms, computer lab, and a community engagement center; A health and wellness wing for strength and conditioning, and injury diagnosis, medical referral, and rehabilitation to be administered by the Rothman Institute of Jefferson University Hospital and Health System.
ESI President and Principal Dr. Richard Voith serves on the board of directors for Philadelphia Youth Basketball.
