DOT to Award $500 Million in TIGER Grants in 2017

TIGERDOT is planning to award $500 million worth of grants to states for infrastructure construction projects. The grants will be awarded on a competitive basis to projects that will be selected from applications from state and local governments.

Since 2009, the TIGER grant program has provided nearly $5.1 billion to 421 projects in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, including 140 projects to support rural projects across the nation.
