Econsult Solutions, Inc. is pleased to announce Gina Lavery as our new President effective July 1, 2026.
With this change, Dr. Peter Angelides transitions from President to Principal, stepping back from day-to-day firm management but continuing full time in his consulting work. A co-founder of the firm, Peter has served as the firm’s President since 2020.
This represents an important milestone in an intentional leadership transition designed to position the firm for long-term success. Gina joined ESI in 2017 as a director and has grown our portfolio of projects in economic development, land use, and real estate. In 2020, she became ESI’s youngest and first female Principal. She now becomes ESI’s first President beyond our co-founders.
Under her leadership, ESI will double down on what it does best: deliver rigorous analysis that helps our clients address practical problems. We will continue to develop our talented team of economists, planners, and policy experts. And we will continue to expand our work with cities, regions, institutions, and businesses to more communities beyond our home base in Philadelphia.
ESI is energized by this milestone and excited to share more information this fall about our next chapter.
